Aberdeen will be without defender Ash Taylor when they travel to McDiarmid Park to face St Johnstone in the live Friday night fixture on BT Sport.
Taylor had an operation on Wednesday to repair the cartilage damage that he suffered during Saturday’s 3-3 draw against Dundee at Pittodrie.
Taylor is likely to be out of action for several weeks, and he will join Russell Anderson and Nicky Low on the sidelines.
Joe Shaughnessy has returned from a loan spell at Falkirk and could be set to slot in a full back with Andrew Considine replacing Taylor in the heart of defence.
