INJURY-RIDDLED Aberdeen winger Jamie Smith is set to return to the Dons squad for tomorrow's game against Falkirk.
The 27-year-old has overcome a calf injury that has seen him on the treatment table again since the end of August.
Smith was troubled by a similar problem last season, and his inauspicious start to the current campaign led fans to correctly assume that the talented forward was crocked again.
Current Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood said: "It's great to have Jamie back. As I've said many times before he has the quality to win games on his own when he's in form.
"He's a naturally fit lad so he's capable of coming straight back into the side."
Calderwood is desperate to win tomorrow with questions being asked about the axe hanging over his shoogley peg with a vote of confidence etc etc.
The Dons are currently at the foot of the SPL after winning only two of their first eight games, but perversely are only two wins off third place in this topsy-turvy a'body-beats-a'body-else league.
