ABERDEEN Director of Football Willie Miller wants talk surrounding Mark McGhee's position to end following the club's decision to back the boss.
The pressure is still on McGhee after his team followed up their 9-0 humiliation at Celtic by losing further matches to Inverness and Rangers.
And club legend Miller has been criticised by some sections of the support for sitting in silence during 2010's dire run of results.
But the multiple bauble-winning former skipper knows there is plenty of hard work ahead for the club, and has now issued a rallying call to the supporters.
Miller said: "The time for talk is over, now it's time for action to get Aberdeen up the SPL.
"Everyone has had their say inside and outside the club. Now that a decision has been made to back Mark we have to move on.
"We have a history of supporting managers and we are backing Mark. But we are not naive.
"We don't think just because we have made a decision that everything will suddenly be okay.
"We need points and Mark knows he has to get results. Now it is vitally important everyone pulls together."
