It has been reported today that Aberdeen will not be taking any action against defenders Zander Diamond and Michael Hart after their on-field scrap during yesterday's disasterous Scottish Cup quarter final against Dundee United. The two squared up for an aggressive "heart-to-Hart" during the embarassing 4-1 defeat by the Arabs.
Jimmy Calderwood said in Monday's Evening Express: "I don't mind them clashing because it at least showed a bit of heart. But they will have to learn to be less public about it. The players were only expressing their points of view. Everyone is told who they are supposed to be marking before the game and, if someone gets a free shot in, someone has made a mistake. That was the cause of the row."
If one thing can be said about yesterday's game, it is that Aberdeen, in the words of Max, were "moydah".
