Dons Injury Latest
That means that long-term injury casualties 'Jinky' Jamie Smith, Zander 'Blood' Diamond and Craig 'Little Red' Brewster may be ready to rejoin the Dons' first team at a vital stage in the season, with the Reds gunning for second place in the SPL.
Chris Clark picked up a knock against Bohemians on Friday, but he is expected to be fit to face Falkirk on Saturday, as are skipper Russell Anderson and Chris 'Phil' Maguire who did not travel to Dublin.
Only Diamond of the Dons' four long-term injury victims trained yesterday, but manager Jimmy Calderwood wasn't too concerned when he spoke to RedWeb.
He said: "Zander trained [on Monday] and was magnificent - straight into things immediately. He was right back to his old self and showing a great attitude and character.
"Craig Brewster did not train today as he was away on personal business but will return tomorrow.
"Jamie Smith was feeling a little twinge. Hopefully it is nothing but we are not taking any chances and will see how he is in the morning but hopefully both will train then.
"Even to have the likes of Jamie on the bench on Saturday would be a big boost."
