Mikey Devlin will tomorrow make his long-awaited Dons debut, six months after signing having now fully recovered from his knee injury.
Devlin will make his debut when Aberdeen face Cobh Ramblers in Cork on Saturday.
“My knee feels great. I feel very, very good," he said. “I am ready for when the manager needs me to play in the team.
“It has been a hard 12 months since I last played.
“The last five or six months at the club have been hard work.
“It was all with an eye to this pre-season to make sure I am in the best shape possible to go and compete for a place. And show the manager and staff what I am capable of.
“All that hard work has prepared me for now and I am ready to kick on in this pre-season.
“I am delighted to be at Aberdeen and want to get going to show what I can do.”
