ABERDEEN FC has launched a new campaign to energise the support and attract new punters in the build-up to the new Scottish football season.
The 'We Are Aberdeen' campaign will be launched in the city's Bon Accord Centre between 4pm and 7pm this Thursday 13th August.
The evening's entertainment will include AFC community coaches hosting a soccer skills activity, a signing session with first team players, a Skills School with freestyle footballer Al Johnson, an appearance from Angus the Bull, face painting and exclusive competitions with tickets for this weekend's match against Celtic up for grabs.
You can also get your hands on the new home and third kits and there are 'We Are Aberdeen' goodies on offer.
The Dons official website RedWeb says: "From the starting eleven to the youth players, from the kit man to the staff in the ticket office, from the fan in the South Stand to the supporter listening to RedTV commentary from the States... WE ARE ALL ABERDEEN.
"This is a family club, a club which belongs to a proud city and one which is followed by some of the most loyal supporters in the game. Together we are Aberdeen.
"This season marks the start of a new era, the chance for Mark McGhee to write another page in the AFC history books. The Red Army are re-energised for the season ahead, and with the players united under a new management team, together, the club will continue to grow and prosper."
New boss McGhee adds: "Let's hope we can all work together, the fans, the players, the management team and create something special that we can all enjoy."
And Dons striker Lee Miller says: "We are working together as a unit and fighting hard for each other. And it goes beyond the senior pros.
"It's not just about the starting eleven, it's about the youth players, the U19's, the backroom staff and the fans, together we are all Aberdeen."
The campaign's message will also feature on various First Bus vehicles throughout the city over the coming month, as the Dons spread the word about the exciting new season to come.
