ABERDEEN have recently taken Coventry City midfielder Isaac Osborne on trial - without anyone noticing!
The 24-year-old, who can play in midfield and defence, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Osborne has been out of the game for 15 months with a knee injury, but had previously made 142 appearances at the midlands club.
Coventry manager Andy Thorn told the Coventry Telegraph: "He’s been back training with the lads for a few weeks and has been up to Aberdeen on trial, which we sorted out for him.
“Isaac has been so unfortunate with injuries and not really had a chance, but we’ll help him.
“He’s been out a long time now but he needs a new challenge and to come back, and I think it will do him good to go somewhere else.”
Dons boss Craig Brown also confirmed the Coventry midfielder Osbourne is a target.
Brown added: "We had him up some weeks ago for a week's work with us and he certainly looked very special.
"The major problem concerning recruiting him is fitness and we've got to be sure the injury problems he's had over the past 18 months have disappeared.
"If that's the case we'll obviously be interested in him."
