The Dons brought a five-figure support to Edinburgh for the League Cup semi-final last Saturday, and a similarly noisy backing is expected at Celtic Park tomorrow.
Aberdeen face Celtic in the Scottish Cup with a place in the quarter-finals of the competition at stake.
And Dons boss McInnes insists the enthusiastic backing of the Red Army has been a key factor in the club’s revival since he took charge.
He said: “The support have been terrific for us, last week and the majority of the season. They have come out to back us in big numbers.
“Everybody commented on how good the fans were last week, from the noise they made to the atmosphere they created.
“They got right behind the team. There is a real belief from the support and the team have responded.
“We are proud of how our support follows us up and down the country. All over Scotland, they give us great backing.
“It is something our club should be proud of. The volume of support is a huge asset and can only help us.”
