DONS winger Sone Aluko wants to stay with Aberdeen as he nears the end of his contract at Pittodrie.
The Anglo-Nigerian forward is out of contract in the summer but is keen to extend his stay in the North-East.
Dons boss Craig Brown has signalled his intention to rebuild the squad in the aftermath of Sunday's Scottish Cup defeat, but Aluko is hopeful of remaining a key player.
He said: "I want to stay at Pittodrie. In time, I will sit down with the management and the people upstairs as well."
