The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign between the sticks for Peter Houston's side last season, keeping 16 clean sheets as they narrowly missed out on promotion.
The Championship outfit today confirmed that he would be returning to the Bairns for 2016/17 after facing competition from Neil Alexander and Joe Lewis at Pittodrie.
“I am delighted to be able to bring Danny back to the club," Houston said to Falkirk's official website.
“The improvement in his game throughout last season was fantastic and I’m sure he will continue that development over the course of this season.
“You know what you get with Danny, a solid, hardworking goalkeeper and a great all-round character."
The goalkeeper left a personal phone message for the Bairns supporters, in which he said: "Guess who’s back, back again!
“I’m on my way down to Falkirk from Aberdeen and I can’t wait to see you all at the Falkirk Stadium next season.
“I’ll never forget those play off matches last year and the atmosphere at them all was incredible. That was my final memory of last year and I can’t wait to make many more this season.”
