The Dons knocked holders Celtic out of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Saturday, a week after demolishing St Johnstone 4-0 in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
Aberdeen’s 2-1 win at Parkhead has left the Pittodrie side favourites to lift the trophy, having already reached one cup final this season.
The Reds face Invernes Caley Thistle in the League Cup Final at Celtic Park on March 16.
And Reynolds, who has had a superb season in the strong Dons back four, believes the current group of players are proving that they can become a force in Scottish football again.
He said: "I think a lot of people were hoping this week would break our season, but we've come out the other side of it and shown there is a new Aberdeen, an up-and-coming team.
“The team that was here before would have started crumbling under that kind of pressure."
