Around 1100 tickets were made available for the away end of the stadium for the tie, and a healthy Red Army is expected to travel as usual.
A spokesman for the Dutch club said: “FC Groningen expects a lot of Scottish fans for the Europe League match against Aberdeen.
“Only Scottish fans with a valid ticket for the away section are welcome and will be accepted in the stadium.
“Supporters of Aberdeen FC who don’t have a valid ticket for the away section will be declined access to the stadium and barred access.”
Aberdeen drew the first leg 0-0 last week so need just a score draw to take them through to face Real Sociedad of Spain in the third qualifying round.
