The Pittodrie ace headed an early winner to sink Partick Thistle in the fourth-round crunch at Firhill.
Considine was also superb at the other end of the pitch as he helped secure the precious clean sheet that edged them over the line.
McInnes was full of his praise of the stopper when he told the Daily Record: “Anything in front of him, he was aggressive. If he had to win anything in the air or in his own box he won it.
“Even at the end when Thistle sent another striker on and were throwing things in behind us he was still alert and concentrating enough to be first to it.
“He’d a really good strong performance but everybody in the team, including the subs who came on, worked hard to make sure we got the clean sheet.
”It was also a fantastic goal. I think we’ve said previously a bit of quality can win you it when games are tight.
“Barry Robson can produce that type of quality from deliveries and Andy was really aggressive in attacking it. It capped his good performance.”
