The Reds have won all four of their last four matches, scoring nine goals and conceding none as they have become Celtic's closest challengers in the Premiership and reached the semi-final of the League Cup.
The Dons boss said: “I think the fans are encouraged by the team. They see a commitment and an energy from the team.
“I still think there’s more to come, which is pleasing as a manager, and it’s just trying to get that improvement from the players every time they play.
“The good thing about them is they’ve got a real appetite for it.
