ABERDEEN manager Mark McGhee preferred to focus on the positives after his side's 2-2 draw at Hibs.
First-half goals from Michael Paton and Steven MacLean gave the Dons a 2-0 interval lead, only for Hibs to hit back, with Abdessalam Benjelloun netting a penalty three minutes from time to earn a point.
But, despite seeing his team pegged back from their two-goal advantage, the Dons boss insisted the draw still represented a positive result for his team.
He said: "It was a point gained. At 2-0 up you want to go on to win the game, of course you do, but the performance and all that was more important to me, almost more than the result.
"It was really important we put in that sort of performance, so I'm pleased with that.
"Hibs are playing in a way that they are getting the breaks and forcing the breaks, and you do that when you're playing with confidence and the sort of tempo they're playing at."
