The Frenchman scored his first goal for the club by heading home Kari Arnason's long throw but bemoaned his side's lack of consistency, which has seen them take only six points from their opening eight matches in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
When asked if he was happy to have netted his first goal for the Dons, the 32-year-old said: "Not really, if I'm honest with you, as it feels like a defeat.
"We gave ourselves another mountain to climb after we conceded two goals. We will have to bounce back as at the minute it is just not good enough.
"Obviously the positive in this game was that when we were pushed into a corner we bounced back, but it is what you do when the score is 0-0 that really counts."
The Dons defender admitted he has been surprised by Aberdeen's lacklustre start to the season.
He added: "I was hoping for a lot stronger start in terms of performance and points. I know that you are not going to be able to play well in every game but at the moment we are still far away from where we want to be."
