DONS boss Jimmy Calderwood has rubbished reports claiming he would be leaving the club within 48 hours.
The story broke on Sky Sports News on Saturday morning and was immediately picked up on by the media and was buzzing around the fans in the build-up to the Dons' visit to Tynecastle.
But Jimmy dismissed the claim out of hand, and the club has not deemed the story worthy of comment.
But sources at Pittodrie have also dismissed the reports that he is to be replaced this week either by Mark McGhee or Billy Davies depending on which rumour you believe.
In two seperate interviews Calderwood said: "It's absolute nonsense.
"I know nothing about it and I would be absolutely amazed if it were true.
"You have to wonder where this comes from. There are a lot of good people at this club and I would know about something like this long before the guys in the media knew."
Moving on to Saturday's 1-1 draw with Hearts which maintains the Dons' incredible away record this season, Calderwood believes the Dons merited their hard-fought point.
He said: "I think a draw was a fair result.
"I thought we started the game really well and were in the ascendancy.
"But all credit to Hearts, they came back into the game after the equaliser.
"I thought it was a wonderful game in these conditions."
