Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes promised they would go on the attack in Luxembourg after eventually gaining an advantage in their Europa League opener against Fola Esch.
Fola quickly cancelled out Shay Logan's opening goal midway through the second half at Pittodrie on Thursday night but the Dons were rewarded for their persistence when Niall McGinn and Adam Rooney struck deep into injury-time to claim a 3-1 win.
But the Dons will not be content to sit on their two-goal lead in the second leg of the first qualifying round.
"We know the away goal can count double," Hayes told RedTV. "We will go over there and we won't change our game plan, we will try to win the game over there.
"If we score a goal then we are in the same boat as them with regard to away goals."
Aberdeen met an organised defence, although they had two goals disallowed along with hitting the post. And Hayes was not surprised by Fola's strength after watching previous European encounters.
"The main game we looked at was their draw away to Dinamo Zagreb," he said. "They (Zagreb) won the (Croatian) league, beating Rijeka, by quite a few points in the end. So we knew they weren't going to be any pushover.
"They were a well-drilled side as a lot of European teams are, but eventually we had that bit of quality that showed."
