Goodwillie insists that Aberdeen aren't feeling the pressure of being the early front-runners in the Premiership title race, and insists that they have the character to handle being top of the table.
Derek McInnes's side won their first eight league fixtures but have since crashed out of the League Cup to Hibs then collapsed to defeats against Inverness and St Johnstone.
However Goodwillie believes that the Dons are the real deal.
"We don't feel the pressure, I think we relish that," he said.
"A lot of the boys are confident lads and they are all enjoying every game as it comes.
"We are just going to keep working hard and do our best to keep this going.
"I've missed a couple of games lately and I was buzzing to get on the scoresheet [against Hearts in September] and do my bit for the team."
