Aberdeen have brought in former Ajax and Utrecht striker Dyron Daal on trial.
Former Ajax Striker On Trial
The 21-year-old, a product of Ajax's youth system, has been playing lower-league football as an amateur in Holland since leaving Utrecht.
Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood has brought Daal to Pittodrie on the recommendation of former Motherwell and St Johnstone defender, Dutchman Benito Kemble.
The big centre forward, apparently very much in the mould of Lubomir Blaha, flew to Aberdeen on Monday and was pitched straight into training.
Calderwood told the Press & Journal: "Benito played for me at Nijmegen, and from his time at Motherwell he knows what it takes to make the grade in Scotland.
"He said Dyron has a physical presence, is quick, with two good feet, so we will have a look at him this week.
"He came in on Monday morning and did well. He is very quick and would give us something different.
"I am always willing to look at a player on trial, it is just annoying we cannot play them in matches."
