ABERDEEN will contact Hearts this week to demand payment for the damage done to the away dressing-room door at the end of Saturday's match.
An unknown member of the Hearts staff is thought to have broken a glass window in the door leading into the away dressing-room.
The incident happened after the Dons inflicted a comfortable 1-0 defeat on the Tynecastle club.
A Dons spokesperson said: "It is just the same situation if fans cause damage at a ground.
"We would write to the club involved and ask them to pay for the repairs and this situation is just the same.
"Given that the damage was caused by someone from Hearts, we will be writing to them and asking them to pay up."
A spokesman for Aberdeen-Mad said that he doesn't believe that the Dons should hold their breath for a quick payment from the notoriously tardy debt-ridden Lithuanio-Gorgie club.
