ABERDEEN boss Craig Brown felt his side were on top during the goalless draw with Hearts.
The last time the sides met, Aberdeen were hammered 5-0 at Tynecastle, a result which saw them drop to the foot of the table, but Brown saw his side edge a decent encounter.
He said: "I think we probably did edge it although Hearts came back better in the second half.
"We had enough of the ball and enough chances to have won the match but perhaps it is getting a bit greedy to think you should win every game, particularly against a very good side who are at the top of the SPL.
"I'm pleased with the improvement in the team and the authority we displayed. The lads are beginning to play with a winning mentality and more authority.
"Hearts are a big strong team but we stood up well to them and it is our third successive clean sheet which is very pleasing."
