A host of players are still looking for clubs after the close of the transfer window, including Anglo-Nigerian ace Aluko who recently departed Pittodrie.
Aluko has spent summer angling for a switch to an English or Italian club, but despite a trials at Juventus and Serie C club Spezia he has yet to find a club that will take a punt on him.
And with Aberdeen desperate to add a creative player outside the transfer window, manager Brown has now thrown a lifeline to the winger who scored for the Dons against Bayern Munich - but Aluko will have to contact the Dons first.
Brown said: "Sone made it clear he saw his future away from here. I'd discuss taking him back but he would need to make the first move.
"There are a lot of guys out there hoping clubs will pick them up and we have details of them all.
"It's now a case of deciding if any of them would do a job for us and it would be great if something could be done ahead of the Hibs game.
"But I don't want to build up the hopes of the Aberdeen supporters then maybe disappoint them as there are a few things to consider."
