DONS boss Craig Brown hailed the example set by his skipper Paul Hartley during his side's 1-0 victory against Hamilton.
The midfielder missed the Dons' 5-0 thrashing of Kilmarnock on Saturday through suspension and was forced to start the match on the bench as Brown kept faith with the same starting XI that had performed so well.
He said: "The last thing a manager wants is a sulking substitute and he was the very opposite.
"Before the game, in the dressing room and in the warm up everything he did was top class and enthusiastic and he came on towards the end to help stabilise things.
"You could get some guys in that situation who wouldn't show that same favourable attitude so I want to compliment him on that."
