ABERDEEN'S new management team of Craig Brown and Archie Knox got off to the perfect start as they led the Dons to a 2-1 win over Hibs in their first game in charge.
The Dons' matchwinner at Easter Road was Scott Vernon who laid on the first goal for Yohann Folly before scoring the winner himself in the second half after Derek Riordan levelled just before the break.
The win is Aberdeen's first in eight games, and takes the Dons off the bottom of the table.
It puts them in a perfect position to start climbing the table with their next game a trip to face bottom club Hamilton on Wednesday.
