ABERDEEN loan target Nick Blackman has put pen-to-paper on a new contract with his club Blackburn Rovers.
The 21-year-old frontman has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal.
Blackman was on a half-year loan with Motherwell this term, where he scored 10 times in 18 appearances for the SPL club, including a hat-trick as Well defeated St Johnstone 4-0.
The forward's new deal sees him contracted to Rovers until the summer of 2013.
It has been reported that Dons boss Craig Brown, who took Blackman to Fir Park, is keen to recruit the striker at Aberdeen, but it is unknown how his new deal will affect his chances of coming to Pittodrie for the second-half of the season.
