And the Dons gaffer is hoping that Lee Miller, Stevie Lovell and Jamie Smith will provide a three-pronged misery route for the Hoops.
Calderwood was bouyed today by the news that love/hate dichotomy striker Lovell is likely to be fit for the make-or-break fixture despite an injury scare.
The English Amy Macdonald fan, Aberdeen's second-top league goalscorer this season despite only starting a handful of games, looks set to play after it emerged that the initial diagnosis was overly cautious.
And he could be joined by UEFA Cup hero Jamie Smith and top scorer Lee Miller up front as the Dons look to blast their way into the Scottish Cup semi-finals.
Calderwood said: "Steve was in a lot of discomfort on Saturday and we thought he would be out for a while.
"He took a bad knock on his Achilles and we feared the worst - but he was much better on Sunday and could be back in three or four days, which is encouraging."
Calderwood is still waiting for Pittodrie medical staff to give Smith the nod to return for the crucial clash at Pittodrie.
But the Dons boss is desperate for the player, who scored two goals in Aberdeen's historic 4-0 defeat of FC Copenhagen in December, to return in time of the vital tie.
He said: "I have to speak to the physios to see when the players will get the all-clear to resume training, but it would give us a big lift to have them both back for Sunday. Jamie is the talisman for us."
