DONS forward Chris Maguire hopes the Aberdeen fans turn out in force on Sunday - because he and the rest of the Dons team owe the supporters a cup semi victory.
The in-demand striker has found himself on the losing side after both of his semi-final appearances at Hampden.
However the 22-year-old believes that the Pittodrie club now have the perfect chance to make amends when they take on Celtic in the last four of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Maguire said: "We feel we owe the fans something. Hopefully, they can turn out in numbers to shout us on to victory.
"Everyone wants to get to a final and no-one more than the players. We’ll keep things calm and see what happens. We know that we’re capable of a performance and the spirit is good.
"It doesn’t matter what side of the Old Firm you play, they will always be favourites. I think our record against Celtic this season is 19-1 on aggregate.
"But we’ve seen upsets happen, like last year when Ross County did the unthinkable and beat Celtic."
