DONS striker Chris 'Bebo' Maguire has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.
The in-demand forward, who is out of contract with the Dons this summer, has been named alongside Dundee United's David Goodwillie, Hearts' David Templeton and winner Gary Hooper of the SFA's Celtic.
Maguire has had an excellent season for both the Dons and the Scotland Under-21s, and became a global sensation when he scored from the halfway line against Iceland at Easter Road for the young international team.
Bebo won his first full Scotland cap against the Faroes this year, and has become a Scotland squad regular, being called up for the recent match against Brazil and associated get-together.
And the youngster is looking to put the seal on a terrific season, and possibly his Dons career, by helping the club to the Scottish Cup final by beating Celtic on Sunday.
Aberdeen's last winer of the SPFA YPotY award was Kevin McNaughton in 2002, with the only other Pittodrie winner of the youth gong being Eoin Jess who won it twice, in 1991 and 1993.
