ABERDEEN have been hit by the news that captain Paul Hartley faces at least six weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The 34-year-old sustained medial-ligament damage during the first half of Wednesday's 2-1 Scottish Cup win over St Mirren.
The Scotland international will now certainly miss the Scottish Cup semi-final with Celtic in April.
Hartley has had an excellent first season with the Dons, making his mark in the dressing room, adding much-needed experience to the midfield, and contributing eight goals.
