Yule used Aberdeen's official website RedWeb to communicate with the fans - but then had very little to say other than a promise that the club will continue to keep the fans in the loop.
Some Dons supporters had levelled the accusation that the AFC board had been too quiet on the subject of the stadium plans earlier this year.
Yule caused controversy last month when he stated that Aberdeen's full-time status is under threat if Aberdeen City councillors rejected the Calder Park application that was key to AFC's proposed Loirston Loch development.
ACC did reject the application, and Aberdeen has now confirmed that they are in the process of identifying other options and have held initial discussions with a number of interested parties.
Yule said: "Although I can confirm that the club has received several expressions of interest for potential/alternative stadium sites, we are still at a very early stage of carrying out a full review of these options.
"There is a considerable amount of preliminary diligence to be undertaken before we decide on the best-suited outcome for AFC. We will take whatever time is required to complete this review in the very best interests of AFC and its supporters.
"When any meaningful progress has been made we'll communicate information between the club, its supporters and other stakeholders as appropriate."
