Dons boss Derek McInnes is without Mark Reynolds for the live Friday night fitba match against Dundee.
The vice-captain misses the fixture, which is live on BT Sport 1 this evening, following his red card in the dramatic 3-2 win in Dingwall last Sunday.
Scott Brown is expected remain between the sticks after a some superb saves against Ross County, although there have been question marks over the positioning of his defensive wall for County's opener.
But McInnes told the Press and Journal: "I thought he (Brown) was excellent. The spotlight was on him after everything that had been mentioned with Danny Ward leaving. But I couldn't have been more pleased with how he dealt with that by playing as well as he did.
"He has shown that level of performance in the past so we shouldn't be surprised by that.
Aberdeen have beaten Dundee twice so far this season but the Jutes are in good form thanks to a thumping 4-2 away win against Partick Thistle last Saturday.
McInnes added: "We know they can be a dangerous team. We have produced two strong performances against them already this season.
"It was a great result for them against Partick Thistle as we know how difficult it can be to score against them. For Dundee to go there and win so comfortably says everything about their level of performance."
