Beat Rangers and we'll get the tedious 'Abergreen only play four times a season' garbage, lose to Rangers and it'll be because our Manager is a Rangers fan.
This isn't helped by Calderwood continually flouting 'Sheepia Law' (wherein employees of Aberdeen FC are expected to keep any Old Firm tendancies private) by droning on about his father not speaking to him if we win EVERY time we play Rangers.
Whilst we find Celtic as odious as their rivals, we experianced our own small scale 'Manchester' when Rangers won the league here in 1987, as their fans 'celebrated' by ransacking the city and descrating Pittodrie.
An insult has never been forgotten or forgiven in Aberdeen, and fuels much the antipathy we have for Rangers.
It can never ever be allowed to happen again.
Therefore, if we even suspect that the Dons are giving less than 100% on Thursday, the final image of the SPL season will be of Calderwood being strung up like Mussolini from the Section Y floodlights by his own support.
