ABERDEEN
With yet another game cancelled, attention among the Dons support turned immediately to next week's game with Killie — not a game that usually fires the imagination, but there is a difference this time around. The re-emergence of our former boss.
Caldo had an inauspicious return to the SPL dugouts on Saturday, but make no bones about it — he will have had half an eye on his Pittodrie return. But what reception will he get from us? Standing ovation? Unlikely. Boos? Possible from some of the more vengeful (and drunker) elements. General apathy with a smattering of applause? Odds-on.
However, a game which was already a must-win as our Euro ambitions falter has become an... er... even-more must-win, as defeat to a financially crippled club with our former boss at the helm would be nothing short of a humiliation.
