Busy week really, with Jim Leighton's return to Pittodrie, the club's AGM, reports that new gaffer Brown is set to bring in a full-back, mooted widescale Scottish fitba reconstruction... So... let's talk Christmas presents.
There are a few things that Dons fans would like to see in Santa's sack this year. Some points on the board, for a kick-off, with Pa Broon steering the good trawler AFC up the choppy SPL waters to safety.
We'd like a couple of the aforementioned full-backs delivered by the Christmas pixies - although we'll probably have to wait until January - and if they could sprinkle some magic defending dust over our dire back-line it would be a real festive treat.
But under the tree we'd really like a CIS Cup semi win. Please Santa, we've been very good this year - we've gifted more points to the needy than any other year since Alex Miller was manager. Make our Christmas dreams come true.
