John 'Budgie' Stewart scored his 12th and 13th goals of the season as Aberdeen reserves beat their Falkirk counterparts 2-0.
Sandy Clark's men started without a substitute goalkeeper as the Dons keeper crisis kicked in, but thankfully young Greg Kelly was neither injured nor seriously troubles during the game.
Dons coach Clark told the Evening Express: "We have suffered a number of horrendous injury problems with our goalkeepers.
"We've been forced to play young Greg against Falkirk's reserves even though he is not 100% fit.
"Greg had to play through the pain barrier with a bad ankle on Sunday in the Youth Cup quarter-final win over Ross County."
At the other end of the pitch Budgie grabbed both goals, one from the penalty spot, to take his incredible scoring run in the reserve league to 13 goals in 11 matches. He has still only failed to score in one reserves outing this season.
The Dons reserves move three points clear at the top of the SPL Reserve League table thanks to today's victory.
