Winters Come Early This Year
The 32-year-old player has been outstanding since his move to Norway, scoring 51 goals in 121 matches in the top division.
This season, his good form almost helped Brann to their first league title since 1963. They were on top of the league for most of the season, but Rosenborg took the lead with 3 rounds left and won the title in a showdown at Brann two weeks ago.
Club director Per Ove Ludvigsen told Brann.no: "Winters has told me that he wants to go back to Scotland."
"He will now look for a club in Scotland as his daughter is old enough to start school."
It is also expected that former Rangers and Dundee United midfielder Charlie Miller will leave the club too. Both players have got a year left of their contracts and therefore will command transfer fees.
