ABERDEEN have signed young defender Javan Vidal on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old right-back put pen to paper in the Pittodrie broom cupboard this morning and he could go straight into the squad for Sunday's SPL match against Celtic.
Vidal was born in Manchester and has come through the ranks at Eastlands, although it is unlikely that City will need any youth system until the Arabs get bored with their new toy.
Last September he had a loan spell at Grimsby Town. Like Sone Aluko, Javen has represented England at various Youth Levels including the U19s and was in the same squads as Sone Aluko and Josh Walker at U17 and U18 level.
