ABERDEEN could be without Sone Aluko for several weeks after he suffered a stomach injury in the 2-1 win over St Johnstone.
The Anglo-Nigerian youngster scored a superb opening goal, dribbling past three players before calmly slotting the ball into the net.
But the winger had to be withdrawn by boss Mark McGhee at half time after picking up an injury just before the break.
It has been reported that Aluko may have suffered a torn abdomen muscle, but the Dons are currently awaiting news of further medical tests.
If the injury is serious, Aluko could miss most of the Dons fixtures into February 2010.
The Nigerian international is already set to be unavailable for the Dons in January next year if he is selected to travel to Angola to represent his country in the African Nations Cup.
