Real Scottish People's League Week 14
Inverness Caley Thistle moved off the bottom of the Real SPL on Saturday afternoon - and how, with a thoroughly merited 6-3 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
The Highland club has been replaced at the foot by Hibernian, who capitulated 1-0 to relegation rivals Dunfermline at home. Manager Colin Calderwood unfortunately paid for what Easter Road chairman Rod Petrie deemed an unacceptable result with his job yesterday.
Saturday's final game saw a 0-0 draw between Euro hopefuls St Mirren and Hearts.
St Johnstone's home fixture with Aberdeen was postponed due to fog, and the cry from the fans for summer football gets louder - but the forward-thinking organisers of the Real SPL are bound to give consideration to the shift.
It could not be closer in this exciting new league at this moment, with a single win covering every team from 4th place to bottom.
