DONS boss Mark McGhee is running the rule over Manchester City midfielder Paul Marshall.
The 19-year-old arrived at Pittodrie and trained with the first team yesterday, and will be looking to impress the Aberdeen gaffer during a spell on trial.
The England Under-20 international, who has also played for the Republic of Ireland U19s, has had recent loan spells at Blackpool and Port Vale.
McGhee told RedTV: "Paul is training with us. I watched him playing for Manchester City reserves and I liked him."
Marshall is the latest player to be linked with a move to the Dons, along with Paul Obiefule, Ruaidhri Higgins and Stuart Holden.
