DONS striker Chris 'Phil "Bebo" McGuire' Maguire thinks that the Dons players have to stay positive tonight — because miracles can happen in Europe.
Aberdeen suffered a disastrous 5-1 home defeat in the Europa Cup Third Qualifying Round last Thursday against tonight's second leg opponents Sigma Olomouc.
No-one is giving the Reds a hope of overturning the deficit, including new manager Mark McGhee, but Maguire says the players must believe they can do it.
And the optimistic 20-year-old hopes an extra week’s training will also make all the difference from last week's lethargic performance.
He said: "We've got to go out there with a positive attitude. It's going to be a hard task.
"I'm sure if we go out there and give it our best shot, you never know what can happen.
"We're still in pre-season and we need to go into this game full of confidence.
"We can look back at last week's result and think we’re down and out.
"But we've just got to keep going and hopefully we can maybe turn it around."
