Everton Confirmed For Russell's Testimonial
As reported on Aberdeen-Mad on May 14, the Toffeemen will face Aberdeen's first XI at Pittodrie on Tuesday August the 8th to celebrate Russell's ten-year association with the club.
The game will form the centrepiece to Anderson's testimonial celebrations that will also include a gala dinner and golf day.
Cadger announced details of his testimonial year along with Apex Tubulars Managing Director Jim Geddie, who is on the Pittodrie skipper's testimonial committee.
Chairing the committee is solicitor Tony Dawson, with John Mitchell, Paul Lawrie, John Caven, Frank Gilfeather, Bill Duguid, broadcaster Rob McLean and Mike Brown also on board.
The game will hav a 7:45pm kick-off, and ticket details have yet to be confirmed.
