ABERDEEN youngster Mitch Megginson had a dream debut for loan club Arbroath on Saturday - and was praised by his temporary club's staff.
Megginson's goal helped Arbroath claim a vital three points in their relegation six-pointer against Clyde.
And after the match, Arbroath assistant manager Kevin McGowne paid tribute to the Dons kid's first-half strike and all-round play.
He said: “Megginson showed guts at the goal to get involved and his bravery was rewarded.
“Considering he did not meet the players until the afternoon before the game he has had a good debut.”
Meanwhile, Megginson himself hopes he can catch the eye of the Dons management by continuing his impressive start at the Red Lichties.
He said: “There was a fast tempo and hard work was required so hopefully this could help me break into the Aberdeen first team for next season.”
