DONS keeper Jamie Langfield has been deservedly called up to the Scotland squad for the totally pointless trip to Japan next week.
The Aberdeen stopper has been part of a defence that has kept clean sheets for five-and-a-half of the six games played in the SPL this season.
Langfield said: "I am already looking forward to joining up with the rest of the squad for the game in Japan.
"The five clean sheets for Aberdeen this season have been great and the manager has probably looked at that record. I must thank the rest of my teammates for that record as well.
"We have an important match against Kilmarnock on Saturday in the league which I am focused on first and foremost. Then I'll turn my attentions to heading off with Scotland."
