Beattie And Scotland Join Dons Wanted List

SINCE Aberdeen-Mad reported that Lee Miller could be moving to Aberdeen in exchange for Richie Byrne yesterday, the rumour machine has moved up another few gears.

In the past 24 hours, the Dons have been linked with moves for Miller in exchange for Byrne, Miller in exchange for Steve Lovell, St Johnstone's Jason Scotland in exchange for John Stewart on loan and Celtic's Craig Beattie on loan.

One transfer that definitely will not go ahead is the one bringing Greg Shields in exchange for Stevie Crawford. Shields failed to agree terms at Pittodrie as AFC refused to budge on wages.

However, negotiations are ongoing between Aberdeen and Dunfermline regarding Crawford's move, but it is unlikely that the Dons will let their top scorer go without bringing in another forward.
