THE DONS have only had one day of pre-season training, yet they have added a second new face to the squad for next season - striker Josh Magennis.
The former Cardiff City striker, 19, completed a medical at lunchtime today and put pen to paper on a contract this evening.
Northern Irish international Magennis has been on the verges of overspending Cardiff's first team in the last season, scoring in the League Cup against Bristol Rovers.
But the powerful young forward was one of many released or transfer listed by Bluebirds manager Dave Jones as Cardiff go through radical financial restructuring under new Far East owners.
Magennis - who started his career as a goalkeeper - will be unveiled at a Pittodrie press conference on Tuesday morning.
