A NUMBER of Dons fans are organising a Reds 'singing section' at Hampden Park for the Scottish Cup semi-final on April 17th.
The plan is to recreate the atmosphere generated in the South Stand at Pittodrie for the quarter-final, which was described as being similar to that created when the Red Ultras were in their pomp.
If you would like to be part of this, get tickets for the bottom half of block A7 of the West Stand at Hampden - the most central section behind the goals.
Mezz posted this on the Aberdeen-Mad messageboard: "Please spread the word to as many people as possible. [...] We managed to get 350+ all in the same place for the recent cup replay and it was the best atmosphere in ages so let's do it ourselves!"
To its credit, AFC have eventually agreed to go along with the plans to have a dedicated singing section at Hampden following fan pressure.
A message on the ticket information page of RedWeb said: "Following feedback from supporters groups, Section A7 in the West stand has been allocated as a 'singing section' for like minded fans to sit in an area with the most vocal support. Please ask for this section when booking tickets if you wish to sit there."
Let's make Hampden our second home again, cheer the boys on to the final and terrorise the Celtic team into submission!
